THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE YOU HAVE OVERCOME?

WHAT DOES FEMININITY MEAN TO YOU?
Empathy, passion and emotional intelligence. Being able to be soft and tough at the same time, leading with head and heart. In the end every man succumbs to the true weapons of a woman or using Beyoncé's words: ‘Who run the world? Girls…’ ;-)
HOW RELEVANT IS AUTHENTIC FEMININITY TO SUCCESS?
I think authenticity is the A and O when it comes to every situation in life. You have to be authentic in yout roles: as a friend, as a sister, as a partner or as a colleague. You can only build a sustainale and fulfilling career by being authentic and true to yourself.
However, to be authentic you need to know who you are. I wasn't as authentic in my 20s as I am today.
FAVORITE TOPICS YOU ENJOY REPORTING ABOUT?
my portfolio as a journalist is quite diverse. Over the past years I've mostly reported on celebrities, including Hollywood superstars. However, my personal claim is passion for people, people of all walks of life. I am fascinated by the diversity and individual life stories of people. Apart from that I love reporting on politics as I believe we all have a right to be well informed on things crucial to affect our daily lives, such as politics.
THE COOLEST PROJECT YOU'VE WORKED ON?
Hosting a LIVE show on the future of the European union broadcasted by Germay's first national channel. It matched quite well with a previous passion project I did: last year, I produced my first single covering the official European anthem (Beethoven's 9th Symphony). We prodcued it as a pop house cover in order to inspire young people to use their voices and participate in the European elections. You can actually listen to it on Shopify.
WHO ARE YOUR HEROES/ HEROINES?
Definitely my parents! They raised me with so much love and have always supported me in pursuing my dreams. I admire them for their wonderful souls. If I’m ever going to have kids I won’t fail as long as I managed to ‘perform’ half as good as they did.
